| Mostly it doesn't really need fixing. He means he's forgotten or doesn't know how to do something on it. lol I recently changed his e-mail addy on about 50 sites for him though. Some made it simple and others you'd think were protecting the crown jewels.
Down to 4C here today but sunny which makes a nice change. Dropping to -1C tonight which I think is the first night below freezing. Winter is coming.
I've just been grocery shopping and the traffic was a nightmare. No idea what's going on but it took me twice as long as usual both ways and was still queuing way back going into town when I was coming out.
My granddaughter and her partner are visiting tomorrow. She's pregnant which makes me feel very old! |

| Hi everyone. Wendy, Enjoy the visit with your granddaughter. Congrats on her expecting a beautiful baby, a new family member for you. Geru, The village on the outskirts sounds charming. And it sounds like you have everything you need nearby. I had a short day at work today, did some shopping and picked up meds for my husband. We don't have any snow in the area where I live but there is snow in the southern part of the state. They can keep it. Haha I have been buying some Christmas presents for my grandchildren. It helps if I start early, as I can spread the cost out and pay as I order so I don't have any Christmas bills after Christmas is over. I found the cutest large learning train for my baby grandson little Elijah James. He can ride/drive the train and learn when he presses buttons all over the place. For the cost, I was hoping the train could teach me a thing or two and take me to new places. Hope everyone has a lovely rest of the day. |

| It's raining today , dark and dreary looking outside , 10 c , so it has warmed up a bit. Some grocery shopping to do again today, and laundry maybe ..Snow seems to be falling in many places very early this year, so you are lucky Kerri to have non yet .Christmas shopping early Kerri, wow... well, you will be without the bills after Christmas as you say , ....good for you ,and sounds like you have fun shopping too. My dad used to buy a new train car or a fancier locomotive for the toy-train we had and was set up at Christmas time only, and of course he played with it too...lol, he loved it .Hello to Wendy , Sandy and Elaine |

| My dad was a train driver so trains featured big in our childhood. I still love them today. That sounds like a fun toy for Elijah combined with a bit of learning too which is always good when they don't know they're doing it. lol
It's about 7C here now so slightly warmer but very wet. Lots of flooding in the next county but luckily we escaped the worst this time around.
I keep trying to cancel Christmas every year but other people won't let me so I just refuse to think about it until December. I put money aside for it so I don't get bills later either.
I've been doing boring housework this morning. My sister and niece are coming here for lunch today and bringing the pups. Our elderly friend isn't feeling great so she's giving her hairdo a miss this week. I'm going to have a trim though. |

| Hi everyone.
No snow yet, but it was sooo cold today. It's supposed to be a bit warmer on the weekend.
A long day at work today. On these cold days I feel like coming home and snuggling in a cozy pair of pajamas with a bowl of soup and a movie.
But I did a load of laundry, made something for my husband to eat and a salad for me with fresh tomatoes, sugar snap peas, cucumber slices, and some blue cheese yogurt dressing.
Take care, everyone, and enjoy the rest of your day. |

| Another wet and chilly day. Went grocery shopping and then to buy a mobile phone for for one of my brothers. He's snapped the pins off in the charging port on his. Never has any money and has no landline so he walked a long way to my house last night to contact me about something else. It also means nobody can contact him either. I couldn't stand seeing him isolated like that since he doesn't drive either so raided my savings. Nothing fancy but a decent mid range phone that should do everything he needs one for. My good deed for the month never mind the day. lol Now I'm broke too.
Got home from his house and five minutes later my internet went down. Couldn't do it while I was out for hours of course. It's back now but apparently will be going off for short periods for another few hours yet so I'm posting quickly before it does it again. It's been down three times so far so fingers crossed. |

| Yes I meant price wise. It's not a high end phone with all the bells and whistles but it's a decent one that does all he needs it for. It's unlocked and sim free so he can just put his current sim card into it.
I don't know about good-hearted but he's my brother and doesn't have much money (not that I do either) and his kids who could help out don't. Funny they're always round his place when they need something, especially free child minding. They need a good slap. Selfish little beggars! |

| It's the second very frosty but sunny day running here. Cold but nice to see some sun at last.
My granddaughter rang me last night from the Dominican where she's on holiday to tell me her partner had proposed. The kiss of death if you ask me but they sounded very happy so I bit my tongue. lol
Off to my brother's a bit earlier than usual today. He has a hospital appt around the time I normally go. I suppose I should move and do something useful before then. |

| Mr Frost has arrived here over night , but the sun is out , 8c right now ,.Went to the Dental surgeon yesterday, and finally got that back molar pulled . Cost me a pretty penny , even though I have dental insurance . My share was $ 408.00 ,plus all the taxi fares . I must say he was very good , it did not hurt and the bleeding was minimal . I have to many platelets , so the bleeding part worried me ,but so far so good ,must take care now for a few days , just eat soft foods , no chewing . I will have to think of how to replace that molar, implants are so expensive .Wendy: Hope all works out well for your Grand-daughter , lets hope for the best is all you can do. As my parents would say ... * well you made your bed, now you have to lie in it .* Housework today as usual, yuk . |

| Hi everyone.
Wendy, Re your granddaughter's engagement, It is tough when we instinctively feel that the person our loved one is infatuated with is not going to love our family member the way they deserved to be loved.
All we can do is support them and be there for them emotionally when it goes wrong. Life lessons about love/infatuation are the most difficult sometimes.
Geru,
Glad to hear that the pulling of the back molar didn't hurt. Good that there was not much bleeding.
I got off work early today. It was a chilly but sunny day. I did some grocery shopping after work. Just relaxing now.
Hope everyone has a peaceful rest of the day. |

| Oh it's not that Kerri. Sorry. I think they're well matched. They bought a house together early this year and my granddaughter is pregnant. I've just seen too many happy couples part after getting married under those circumstances. Not to mention the cost of a wedding these days when they've taken on a mortgage and will soon have a baby too. It will be a stretch financially without adding to that. It's a lot all in the space of a year or two. I'm not worried about her choice of partner just the amount of pressure they'll be putting themselves under.
It's warmed up here for the next few days. Supposed to get to 9C today but it's pouring with rain so not very pleasant. My daughter and her partner are arriving later for a couple of days so I doubt I'll get time to get online.
Glad the dental surgery went well Geru. Hopefully the expense will prove worth it. |

| Good morning, everyone.
Wendy, Ohhhh. I can see why you are concerned if they bought a new house, have all the expenses of a new baby, and might be paying for a wedding, as well. I would say, skip the expenses of the wedding! Haha
Enjoy the time with your daughter and her partner, Wendy.
Take care and have a lovely rest of the day, everyone. |

| I hope that healing is going well Geru. Yep. I'd skip the wedding too. Even a basic one is extortionate these days.
Mild and wet the last few days but turning chilly tomorrow so they say. I'm just doing boring household chores today.
I have amazingly started Christmas shopping which is something I usually put off for as long as possible. Got a parcel arriving today according to an e-mail I just received. Supposed to be coming on Monday but since I'm out for a lot of the day on Monday I'm quite happy for it to arrive early. |

| Good morning all from a very warm Western Australia. Just got back from my early morning walk and now doing a small load of washing and that will be it for today as it's going to be a scorcher. I have had my daughter's wedding last month and it was beautiful and lots of laughter and love all around. It cost them a small fortune but that's what they wanted so good on em. They went to the Maldives for their honeymoon. Before the wedding I had surgery so I put all my intention on healing for the wedding. I take things day by day now and when I have an off day I just rest and relax. I'm doing more from home now and help organise things for the bush fires etc. More of the admin/logistics side instead of rushing out in my car lol. We've been lucky here and just had the normal fires but the east coast has been a disaster! Other then that I'm active for a few charities that help out victims of domestic violence. We just finished collections of clothes and toiletries etc for the xmas season. Last I heard from Sandy she is doing ok and just taking it easy. I think the days of sitting in front of the computer and posting for hours are gone for us both. I know I lost my mojo when Yuku was taken over. Wishing you all well and hopeful in good health. I will try and be back quicker but real life can really throw you a curve-ball sometimes. |
