Quick drop in ,have been feeling   under the 
weather , took a  break from the computer etc etc /


 I have been going through  a lot  for the last 4 years  ,  and  had a bad tooth abscess , will loose a molar  and then a new bridge  , will cost me  a pretty penny .!!


 Got several things to do,and catch up on .  


Hematologist appointment tomorrow , book keeping etc etc etc .


 Have  read your post'a .

 
  Guess it's time for our yearly flu shot any day now .  


What is going on with Sandy, has anyone heard ?

Not much happening here. The weather has turned chilly and we've had a lot of rain and wind. The pups will be a year old this month. Time flies. I'm still searching for a good deal on flights for next year but the main airlines have doubled their prices after the Thomas Cook collapse. I'll bide my time and keep looking. Hoping to get a refund on the ones I had bought fairly soon. Fingers crossed.

Boring housework this morning and then visiting my brother after lunch.

Hi everyone. 

I took my granddaughters to a pumpkin patch today.
There were games, face painting, bouncy houses, 
pumpkin painting, a storybook area where a woman
was reading Halloween books for children. 
And there were lots of pumpkins.
And pumpkin donuts, muffins, and fritters.

It was a lovely Autumn day
and nice to spend time outside today.

Sounds like a fun day Kerri. Halloween is a much bigger event there than it is here. I had visitors over the weekend so haven't been online much. They're coming again in a couple of weeks and will be replacing my dying car heater for me before winter. It comes on when it wants and doesn't blow very well so demisting is haphazard and visibility is decreased. Once the cold weather arrives I doubt it will even thaw the windscreen so it will be good to get it done.

I've finally finished clearing out my bedroom closets and drawers. I actually have an empty drawer. Yay!

Got my refund on Saturday for those flights I'd booked with Thomas Cook. That's a relief.

Off out to lunch with my sister and niece later but that's it for excitement.lol

No one around except Whisper and Kerri , that is a shame , looks like Sandy has dropped the site ,or to sick to drop in ?????

Nothing really happening here. Heavy rain forecast all weekend and it's a chilly 6C max. Winter is on its way early.

bright sunny day here , with 11c right now, having a lazy Sunday , spending time chatting with my daughter. 

Well, sending good wisher to Sandy if she is sick , hoping for better days .

Not long now , before all the goblins start arriving at our door . . The sun is out and we are sitting at 6c , lovely bright day .

I haven't had any trick or treaters since I moved to this house over eight years ago. used to gets loads at my last house.

I've got visitors arriving on Friday so won't be around on the weekend. Hopefully one of them will be replacing my dying car heater on Saturday. Fingers crossed he succeeds because the car is pretty useless in winter without one.

Another nice fall day here, mild 8c , with sun out now and then .

Nothing much going on here,  busy with keeping appointments etc , cleaning , cooking and laundry  as usual  .  The big event night is over , saw many goblings out quite early in the evening , collecting from the stores in town ... lol .

another sunny day here , 6c right now , climbing to 12c is the forecast , think  a  nice long walk is in order, I will take my camera,  right after I do some baking.

Lovely pics Geru. My visitors have left now so all is quiet. Got a few chores to catch up on but nothing major. Car is fixed which is good. It's getting old Geru so repairs are to be expected. My daughter's partner has done several repairs on it for me now. The latest cost me £40 whereas the garage wanted £500 for the same job so I'm pretty happy. It'll keep the car going probably for another year so well worth the spend.

Very pretty all the same. It's about 9C max and very dull with showers. Some quite heavy. Had fun with the pups yesterday although I'm glad it wasn't me cleaning them up after their romp. lol They looked like they'd been mud wrestling which I suppose essentially they had.
