checking in

Hi Joy, there really is no need to do the checking in thing on this board.  It's not expected.

I think the checking in thingy on a daily or weekly basis that some boards do is an old MSN thing that people that migrated from there did and carried over to Yuku. 

I like people to feel comfortable visiting as and when they please even if it's just to read, and then post when they want to.  I don't like them to think they have to "check in" just to remain a member.

I put this thread up for interesting links because we no longer have the Yuku profiles showing the posts we had made for people to follow and join in.  I used to often find a fun post link on people's profiles that I would follow, and join in if I had something to say.

Please do feel free to post any link into a post on your board that you think people might like to read.

I have Sandy and this is just the beginning of interesting links and I hope others will share theirs as well!

Here's one I find very interesting which is one reason why I don't ride my bike anymore other than I find walking more effective and drivers are more patient with pedestrians and not so much cyclists and this guy on the bike in Vancouver BC. is why.

Nice one Marie. Trouble is, that sort of post gets me rambling on, lol. Once I get started on that sort of post I have to force myself to stop typing.

This morning I started two new topic that might be on interest, one about my "NEW" addition to the family, a vacuum cleaner. After 35-40 years my old one finally kicked the bucket, so I got another to replace it HERE. 

Then I found something odd this morning about lurkers and posted about that HERE.
