| Glad to hear Sandy is OK. Thanks for that Martha. I think a lot of people are burned out when it comes to forums and Yuku going was the last straw for some. Starting all over again didn't appeal to most especially those who had already done it once after moving from Ezboard.
Sounds like they had the wedding of their dreams so if that's what they wanted to spend their money on I'm glad they got what they wanted.
Hard to imagine the bush fires and scorching days. We've been below freezing every night for the last week. Hard frosts which look pretty and I'll take them over the endless wind and rain but it's definitely chilly.
I'm feeling a bit smug. I've actually written all my cards and they have stamps on ready for posting and I've bought and wrapped all my Christmas presents over the weekend too. Usually I'm just starting to think I should maybe consider starting about now. |

| I had visitors Friday and Saturday but today will be quiet I hope. The weather has been awful. Severe gales, torrential rain and then lots of hail showers. Last night we had snow but the ground was too wet for it to stick. The cars all have a decent coating but that's all.
I'm all done with Christmas. My daughter and her partner are coming up on Boxing Day (26th Dec to those who've never heard of it) and cooking a roast dinner but until then I'm forgetting about it.
Same old stuff coming up next week plus a visit to the doc's on Thursday for my regular injection. |

| Hi everyone. I, too, am done with all my Christmas shopping and wrapping and all of my cards are mailed out. Our little Christmas tree is only 4 feet tall but it looks pretty when the lights are plugged in. Relaxing to look at after a long day. I had my granddaughters and my baby grandson over last night. He is starting to try and crawl now. He gets on all fours and lifts his little backside in the air. Ha! Or he will roll over on his stomach and move his little arms and legs as if that will get him forward, though he goes nowhere. He looks like a little turtle swimming in place when he does that. Just relaxing now. My husband is watching an old James Cagney movie on his computer. The snow looks pretty through the sliding glass door. But I'm glad I'm inside. Glad to read that Sandy is OK. Geru, my daughter's boyfriend works for the post office here. He is working overtime, 12 hour days during this holiday season. Hope the snow leaves you alone. Haha Wendy, I hope you had a nice time with your visitors. Sorry to hear about the torrential rain, gales, and hail. I hope the weather softens up a bit. Take care everyone and hope you have a peaceful rest of the day. |

| Awww. Trying to crawl already? Doesn't seem two minutes since he was born bless him.
The usual Monday here. Boring housework and then lunch with my sis at our friend's place. Not sure if my niece will be there with Alfie or if she's working. They moved a couple of weeks ago so won't be over as often and I won't be having Alfie here any more. I'll miss the monster pup. Well a bit anyway. Spencer will definitely be there though so I can get my puppy fix. |

| Hi everyone. I finished all my cleaning and chores yesterday so I'm hoping for a relaxing day today. It rained all day yesterday but at least when I went out it was warm for this time of year. It's raining again this morning. I cracked the sliding glass door a little bit. The sound of the gentle rain is making me sleepy. Hope everyone has a relaxing rest of the day. |

| Enjoy your relaxing day Kerri. I'm having a quiet day too. My visitors have moved on to my grandson's now so all is quiet. The weather this week has been dreary with light showers but it is relatively mild for December. A max of about 6C. It would be nice to see some sunshine though.
I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas and a Happy New Year to all who drop by. |

| Hi everyone.
It snowed and snowed and snowed today. Made it home safely from work.
Cozy in here tonight. I'm gonna snuggle up with a Sherpa blanket and watch a movie.
Take care and have a peaceful rest of the day. |

| More dreary but mild weather here. It's been around 6C for a couple of weeks but grey, breezy and showery. I've forgotten what the sun looks like.
I'm catching up on boring chores this morning. Washing bedding and other tedious but necessary stuff. Pippa is laying half on my keyboard making typing difficult. I swear she has a smug look on her face too.
Visited my eldest brother yesterday and his two daughters showed up at different times. One with her two dogs. They always make me laugh. One is a huge German Shepherd and the other a tiny Yorkshire Terrier who doesn't know he's tiny. |
