What is your tea bag made of?

Came across this video this morning and even though I already knew this ... but seeing it like this ... wow.

TEA BAGS MADE OF

Oh dear, I'm not sure I want to watch this as I drink so much tea and always use teabags, lol.

I will come back in tomoz to watch it. On my way to bed now.

I don't drink tea fortunately.

Oh My! I think I might be going to be going back to the old tea leaves for me. Good job I already have a decent china tea pot, lol.

Although that is only the actual bag, so we aren't consuming that so it's not all that worrying. It's just something we never think to think about how it's made.

I was reading up further to see how they filled it up with tea after making the tea bag and they where showing that the tea going in was like a washed down, crushed left over type thing.

Fresh tea leaves is always better and I used to have a variety of those when I was drinking tea at night. 

The thing is though Sandy; you steep that tea bag in boiling hot water so the plastic particles would go into the water.

I stick to my coffee

I think it depends on the quality of the tea bags. Some are so cheap and those are virtually made with the dust of the leaf, but the higher prices ones aren't nearly as bad.

My problem is, that I really don't like the taste of loose tea. It simply doesn't taste the same as a tea bag.

My Sister Barbara has only ever used loose tea, and I used to never drink tea in her house, until she also started getting in a box of tea bags for me and for her Son Gary, who also prefers tea bags.

But I might get a small pkt of loose tea and see if I can get used to it again. Before tea bags were invented that's all we ever used to drink and I have always loved my tea since a baby.
